Deals that open and close themselves
A pipeline is only as good as the last time someone updated it. sumwerk's is fed by what already happens - a call booked through Calendly or cal.com, a sign-up, a trial, a limit reached, a payment in Stripe - so the board is right without anyone keeping it up.

New business, from the first touch to the first payment
A booked call, a sign-up or a trial opens a deal. The trial moves it on, and the first payment wins it with the MRR the customer really pays, taken from Stripe. A trial that ends unpaid loses it, with the reason written down.
Expansion, renewals and retention come by themselves
A paying customer who reaches a limit of their plan appears in Expansion, and the deal is won with the MRR the upgrade added. Yearly subscriptions show up in Renewals sixty days before they renew. A failed payment or a scheduled cancellation opens a deal in Retention; it counts as saved when the signal clears.
Your stages, your rules
Rename, reorder and add stages, give each a probability for the forecast, and choose what moves a deal into a stage by itself. Drag a card to move it by hand, and close a lost deal with its reason.

The same customer everywhere
A deal is not a copy of the customer: it is the customer, with the notes, calls, emails, tasks and revenue you already see. Every move shows on their timeline and can start an automation.
Questions
- Do I have to enter deals by hand?
- Only what the product cannot see coming, such as a referral or an enterprise conversation. Everything that starts with a booking, a sign-up, a trial, a limit or a payment opens and moves by itself.
- Which booking tools work?
- Calendly and cal.com. A booked call creates the lead, the person, a note with the answers and a task for the host, and opens the deal.
- Is there an API?
- Yes. List the pipelines and stages, open, move and close deals, and use a key of your own so a deal is never created twice.
Goes well with
- CustomersA customer in sumwerk exists independent of Stripe: leads and trials from your product, several Stripe customers under one record, attributes, tags, owners.
- BillingPlans and what each gives, trials, a checkout of your own on your domain, billing pages for your customers, and the limits checked in your app.
- AutomationsWhen a trial starts, a payment fails or a cancellation is scheduled, sumwerk adds a task, sets the owner, tags the customer or calls your webhook.
